I'm opposed to the idea of making our state color purple in honor of Prince. I couldn't stand any more pandering to celebrities or to the Vikings ... besides, everyone knows that Minnesota is the land of the sky blue waters.
I would not be opposed to making our state recreational drug purple opiate. Might serve as a warning to kids.
